Weblink missing in overlaid file
Hi
I am using the Overlay PDF tool to overlay a QR code (with a weblink region), a graphic and an email address to a report.
The problem I am experiencing is that the weblink region works does not work on the output file but does work on the input file. The email link works in both files.
I have exported the tool and attached it. The input and output files are not suitable to be on a public forum is there somewhere I can send them?
Kind regards
Red

I have also tried using the "import as Layer Overlay tool" that also appears to lose the weblink in the donor file.

Re: Weblink missing in overlaid file
Hi Red,
After some discussion with the Dev team, it appears that this is currently something which the tool is not actually designed to do. As such they are looking at implementing this handling, and a formal feature request has been made on this topic for you:
RT#5599: IPXC_Pages::OverlayPages: option to handle comments, links, form-fields from overlay doc
While internal only, you can check with us here at any time in the future for an update on its progress
Kind regards,

Hello RedSharpEye,
A work item has been created and a developer assigned to the ticket, but it is not yet marked as resolved!
When there are any further news - we will post directly here in the forums.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello RedSharpEye,
No problem at all! Glad that you did, but it's just that for the moment there isn't any further news that I can provide!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Weblink missing in overlaid file
Hi,
I'm currently investigating to use the overlay function for a workflow used for +60 people.
It's not a weblink I try to keep but I feel it's the same problem.
But I need to keep the "text form" fields to work from the overlaid document.
These fields are not editable again, after this document is placed with the overlay.
Is there any progress on this fix? And maybe a ready date?
With Kind regards,
Using: PDF-XChanger Editor

Re: Weblink missing in overlaid file
Hello, bsprang
Unfortunately no notable progress has been added to the ticket since Stefan last reported in. For the time being It appears that this request is being treated with a lower priority, as some other items which are a bit more critical to the Dev team have come up. Hopefully we can return to this in due time and complete its implementation.
Kind regards,
