Hi, Mr. Nice Guy
Can I ask you to please describe what you mean by "doesn't work" do you get an error, does the tool stop processing, does it continually run the process without ever stopping, or do you simply see a manual save prompt?
Also, you mention that you are using the "split/merge PDF's" tool, could I ask you to export the tool, and send us a copy of your current tool settings, so that we can test with them here and see what may be going on? You can export any tool in PDF-Tools by right clicking on the tool itself. You will then need to place the exported tool into a zip folder in order to upload it here.
Kind regards,

Re: Bug: Use source folder as dest. 9.0 352.0
Hi Daniel,
sorry, my mistake.
The Output-PDF-File(s) will be saved in the "documents" folder, not in the source folder.

Hi, Mr. Nice Guy
Thank you for the clarification and the copy of your tool. I have shown the dev team and created a formal bug report on this matter:
RT#5546: Save action "user source folder" no longer works with merged files
While this is internal only, you can check back here for an update on the progress in the future. I cannot offer a timeline for this, but do expect that the resolution will not yet be ready in the upcoming 353.0 release. You will likely be waiting until 354.0 before this is resolved.
