PDF/A-2a conformity issue SOLVED

Dear Tracker Support Team,

when I generate PDFs that conform to PDF/A-2a, the resulting PDFs fail validation for conformity with the PDF/A-2a standard. The validator used for conformity tests under the German XJustiz standard produces the following error report:

The property 'pdf:CreatorTool' is not defined in schema 'Adobe PDF Schema'.
The document does not conform to the requested standard.
The document's meta data is either missing or inconsistent or corrupt.
The document does not conform to the PDF/A-2a standard.

Similarly, when I open a PDF-Tools-generated PDF/A-2a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Professional 2017, the conformity validation fails with the error message

XMP property not predefined and no extension schema present (XMP 2005)

I'm attaching one PDF generated using PDF Tools and one PDF generated using Adobe Acrobat Professional 2017. Both PDFs were generated from the same MS Word source document that is also attached. Also, I'm attaching the exported PDF Tools tool I used for the conversion.

I would like to ask you to look into this issue. Please let me know if you need any additional information, or if I should test anything. Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Denis,

I just tested several documents against the new version 8.0.342.0, and they all verify successfully. I'm attaching a new sample, created from the original test document, for your reference. Thank you for fixing this issue. Perhaps would it be worth mentioning that this issue has been fixed in the release notes also? Valid PDF/A-2a documents are a very important necessity when electronically filing documents in the German judicial service.
