De-brochure split and sort

Hi,

is it possible to reorganize scanned brochures or manuals so that the pages are in the correct order?

Example:

I already learned about the Split Page tool, so that the result is page order: 8 - 1 - 2 - 7 - 6 - 3 - 4 - 5.
How can I move the pages into the right sequence?

Ideally this should work as well not only for 8 pages in a brochure, but as well for 4, 16, 40, ... pages.

If you are familiar with JavaScript, this may be possible through the use of our JS console (Ctrl+J), unfortunately I do not have any examples hand for this. You can find the Adobe JS API reference here: https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/ ... erence.pdf
Beyond that, there is no way to automatically sort the pages as you are requesting.

The API reference link you provided is refering to the admin section where I don't have access. But i assume I will find it on Adobe's pages.
