How do I remove red box around inserted text? Thank you

This depends on how the text was inserted, generally it will be added as a "textbox" comment, which means you simply need to us the "Select comments" tool on the home or comment tab to select it (without clicking a second time to edit the text itself), then look to the format tab, you will be able to make the border white or set it to a 0pt border width:
