I've mainly used PDF X-Change Printer in this marvellous package, but today I'm wanting to extract an image from a PDF. For the life of me I can't figure out how load the pdf after selecting Extract Images from PDF or Export Image from PDF. Searching the manual didn't help me and I'm not into command line stuff. Can anyone help, please? :(

Hello posword,

PDF Tools is a batch processing tool and it cannot open PDF files directly.

If you would like to view your PDF documents, please use the PDF-XChange Editor.

Thanks

Hello posword,

You can use PDF Tools to extract images from your PDF documets. Just double click the Extract Images from PDF tool, select the document and the output folder and all images from your document will be extracted to the selected output folder.

If you would like to read more about this tool, please check our online manual:
