Hello,
i have to "optimize" a few hundred big pdf's. That means I have to reduce the size of the pdf files. This works very well with the PDF tools but it takes a long time. I noticed that while optimizing my PC is not very busy. PDF Tools takes only 17% of the CPU and otherwise my PC is underutilized. Is there a way how my entire resources can be used for the optimization to accelerate the whole thing?
Performance improve?

Re: Performance improve?
Hello pollux991,
There is a checkbox that you can turn off "Batch Processing Mode" which would reduce the menory usage, but unfortunately this most likely won't have effect on parallel processing by multiple CPU codes (seems like you have 6), so I have made a FR in our internal system so that we can see what improvements we can do here:
#4664: FR: PDF Tools Multicore processing for heavy workloads
Regards,
Stefan
