PDF Tools Extract File Size ?
I would like to extract pages from a file that has 129 pages and is 45 mb.
Attempted to extract pages 1-26 into one file ... extracted just as expected.
What I did not expect was it to keep the same file size, my 26 page file is also 45 mb.
Is there a way to fix this ?

Hi Danna,
Thanks for the email - please try the File --> Save As Optimized feature.

Re: PDF Tools Extract File Size ?
I do not see that option in PDF Tools.
This is the only option I see.

Will is speaking about File --> Save As Optimized feature of the Editor, not about PDF Tools
Open your file in Editor and Save as Optimized

Re: PDF Tools Extract File Size ?
Thanks for the help OVG,
I also noticed that danna is using an older PDF Tools (V4) - while our current V7 does have an optimization option inside Tools as well: Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks for the reply's guys.
My editor does not have '"save as optimized" either.
It has both "Save as" and "Save copy as" but both only have PDF as an option.

If I would upgrade to current version(s)
any idea how much of a difference ... optimizing would have on that 45mb file ?

Thanks Ovg ... appreciate your efforts.
I have 3 computers ... 2 desktops and 1 laptop. (all home computers)
One desktop has no internet connection.
Would the single user license allow me to install on all 3 ?

Re: PDF Tools Extract File Size ?
AFAIK no, you can install only to one desktop and to one laptop.
