using pdf tools v7 I checked for updates. There was found one and î started dl. After dl there happened - nothing.
And no setup file in the dl dir. So I had to go to your site to dl manually

Hello Götz,

Thanks for the e-mail and report.
After the downloads are done - the updater tool should offer you an option to start the installation immediately, or wair 60 seconds and then it will start it on it's own. Did this not happen for you?

Could you give us a little more details about your computer configuration, and do you have any security software installed?

Also, is your user profile have admin rights?

One more thing, could you please try to start the Updater with Run As Administrator, to see if there will be any difference.

well, both the editor and the tools are started as normal user. For installation I get asked for andmin rights.
Sure I can start the progs as admin. But for the moment this is gone until the next update. Remember I started manually already...
