I have to perform OCR on thousands of multi-page PDF files. How can I increase the performance or which hardware is particularly suitable for this? AMD or Intel? Xenon, I7, Ryzen? SSD? Fast RAM? What are the main factors for maximum OCR speed.
When I put together a new system, what should I pay attention to?

Hello Kai,

I believe the OCR process we use is mostly dependent on the CPU and it's speed - so a higher speed CPU will produce better results.
Also - the more cores- the better obviously.
I only tested with 10-15 files a moment ago - but the Tools was loading all 8 cores of my CPU fully while it was working.
