Problem with batch pdf conversion from Word 2010

Tue May 16, 2017 7:06 pm

We are using the PDF Tools v6 - 'Convert Files to PDFs' tool. When used to convert Word 2010 files that are tracking changes, the tool always creates pdf files that show all markups and comments - even if the Word files are saved with all changes and comments suppressed (Final view). This behavior renders the tool useless to us. Is there a setting or any means of changing the behavior such that pdf files created do not display changes and comments?

Thanks.

Hello bpa1,

Thank you for the post. Could you please send us a copy of these word documents as well as the resulting PDF so that we can investigate more thoroughly?

Thank you!

Thank you.

Issue resolved.
This is not a PDF Tools issue, but rather how Word requires a user to accept all changes and to turn off 'Track Changes' to allow the document to open or print without displaying changes or comments - regardless of what view is saved.

Thanks.
