Does PDF-Tools v6 includes rights to use PDF-XChange Editor?

Hi,
I'm owner of PDF-xChange Editor and think PDF-Tools v6 would offer features I'm looking for (way to simplify protection using password of individual documents).
I did see on the site that the upgrade price would be $17.40 (or $52.36 for PDF-XChange PRO).

Can you confirm that upgrading to PDF-Tools v.6. will still allow me to use PDF-XChange Editor v.6.0 (as individual tool?).

Regards
Bernie

Hi Bernie,

Thanks for the post - Absolutely, it will. A PDF-Tools license includes PDF-Tools, the Editor (NOT Editor Plus) & XChange Lite.

HTH!

Thanks for the confirmation.

Does the "Pro" version allow javascript scripting with Security function support?
(this could be an alternative to using PDF Edition + PDF tools in one unique GUI?)

Regards,
Bernie

Hi Bernie,

Thank you for the post. I am afraid that PRO is actually a bundle including Editor Plus, Tools V6 and PDF-XChange Standard. They do not share a single GUI.

HTH!
