AutoCAD PC3 - Output PDF Filename is doubled

Version 6.0 build 318.1

When plotting in Civil 3D 2016 using our own PC3 referencing the PDF-XChange system printer, the output PDF file name gets doubled as follows:

DWG file name: MyFIle.dwg
PDF file name: MyFile MyFIle.pdf

We have the "File Name" set to use the "%[DocName]" macro (as we always have) inside the Properties, Save tab.

Should we apply an update for this?

Hello spanqy,

You are using a slightly older build. You may benefit from updating to build 319.0

Please note;
build 320 is tentatively scheduled for release on January 30th in case you wish to wait prior to updating.

Otherwise, the latest installers can be downloaded here: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/downloads

I hope this helps!

Usually AutoCAD uses "Filename + Layoutname" (or "+ Model"). So maybe your example was printed from "Myfile"-layout inside "MyFile.dwg")

For renaming and handling AutoCAD-print output please take a look at the feature (the Javascript) "titrules.js"
https://help.pdf-xchange.com/pdfxs6 ... b=titrules
(Hint for the supporters: In the help there is also a typo: titjules ...)

Searching here in the forum for "AutoCAD" and "titrules" will bring you great support.

Nice catch! I have updated this in our documentation. It will be live in several minutes.

Cheers!
