Currently, when choosing a file format for export, the user can only specify whether the file should be in MP3 or WAV format. The default settings are the following and cannot be changed:
Format: MPEG Audio
Overall bit rate mode: Constant
Overall bit rate: 128 kb/s
File type: MPG/3
Format: MPEG Audio
Format version: Version 1
Format profile: Layer 3
Format settings: Joint stereo
Bit rate mode: Constant
Bit rate: 128 kb/s
Channel(s): 2 channels
Sampling rate: 44.1 kHz
Frame rate: 38.281 FPS (1152 SPF)
Compression mode: Lossy
Format: Wave
Overall bit rate mode: Constant
Overall bit rate: 711 kb/s
Format: PCM
Format settings: Little / Signed
Codec ID: 1
Bit rate mode: Constant
Bit rate: 705.6 kb/s
Channel(s): 2 channels
Sampling rate: 22.05 kHz
Bit depth: 16 bits
I propose to consider the possibility of adding the ability to specify the following parameters in the case of MP3:
- Use VBR (Variable Bit Rate Encoding) / CBR
- Quality: Lowest / Low / Medium Low / Medium / Medium High / High / Highest
- Bit Rate: 54 / 64 / 80 / ... / 320 kbps
- Mono / (Joint) stereo
