Custom pdf tool deploy

I have pdf exchange and tools installing via GPO to specific Computers, and the settings and license install via the GPO User settings. I'm not sure right now if that is the best way, but it works. I now need to deploy a custom Pdf Tool to some or all of these users. I have the pdtex file and can do it manually of course. I would like to deploy it into a new folder called Custom in the Categories list.

Thanks for any help you can give...

When you say custom tool, would it not be possible to package it into its own msi file to use GPO again for this ones distribution?

This is a single .pdtex file that I need to Import into PDF Tools. I don't know how to do that other than the manual way.

Hello hitherhills,

If you have added some custom tools to an instance of our software - please go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFXTools\6.0\Settings\CustomTools
And you should find all the custom tools listed there.
I presume just copying and distributing these registry entries to all users will suffice in deploying the custom tools to everyone.

Stefan
