Is there a way to do Adaptive Compression and Deskew on scanned PDFs using the PDF-XChange Core API SDK?

Hello capturebites bvba,
Check out this method for Deskew:
https://sdkhelp.pdf-xchange.com/vi ... age_Deskew
And how to get to the IIXC_Page interface, you can see in the "4.12. Change all of the Images to black and white" sample for the CoreAPIDemo available from here:
https://github.com/tracker-software/PDFCoreSDKExamples
As for the Adaptive Compression - you will have to describe more specifically what you want to achieve.
Cheers,
Alex

Re: Adaptive Compression and Deskew on scanned PDFs
Hi Sasha,
Adaptive Compression is a function in the PDF-Xchange Editor. I attached a screen shot to show you where to find the settings. It's your technology to split the scanned PDFs in layers and use a compression for each layer. You can also set the compression for each layer. JPG or JPG-2000 for the color mayer, JBIG or CCITT G4 for the text layer.
We'd like to integrate this technology in our product using the Core API.

Hello capturebites bvba,
I'm afraid that this functionality is not available to use via the Core API SDK.
Cheers,
Alex

Re: Adaptive Compression and Deskew on scanned PDFs
Using the deskew feature under Convert and Enhance Scanned Pages seems so much slower than competitors like, Nitro. Is this a known issue being worked on?
