Adding custom stamps.

Hello Tracker,

This is not a bug with the SDK or an issue with Tracker's software, more a question for help with our use of the SDK.

We are trying to develop a custom "stamp" (or other object if it is more applicable) that will allow users to place it anywhere on the document and have an onClick event that we can hook into. The other feature we would like this "stamp" to have is to NOT be able to be flattened. We want to always keep the functionality of the onClick unless the user deletes the custom "stamp".

We have been using the documentation here: "https://sdkhelp.tracker-software.com/view/Main_Page" to try and create something with this functionality but are having difficulty. Is there a way to create a object/stamp like this or do you believe this functionality is outside of Tracker's SDK?

We have a Word and Excel addon that provides this feature for their respective documents and can provide a clip of the functionality if it would help to determine if it is possible with the SDK.

Thank you,
Doc.It

Hello Doc.It,

Check out the CoreAPIDemo application, on how to add the stamps to collection (different ways) and also place them on the page. As the Stamp itself is the annotation, all that you will have to do is use the https://sdkhelp.tracker-software.com/vi ... ots_addNew operation to update the Editor's UI with needed data (redraw the pages view, send events, Undo/Redo data etc).

Cheers,
Alex

Hello. I need to solve a similar problem for my employer using the ActiveX SDK, namely:
We have a database of 1C Document Management with historical files signed by electronic digital signature in our database. I need to visualize the signature in some temporary files for printing by inserting stamps about digital signatures in their copy, which may be several. At the same time, I need the user to move the stamp with the information about the signature on the file page and the signature itself should be similar to the headquarters, that is, it would have a frame, some text inside the frame and a transparent space through which the original text of the document will be visible under the stamp. I need help with how to do this using the ActiveX SDK from a third-party program that can create objects in its original programming language COM.
Thanks in advance

I work for a land surveyor & I often need to place his RLS stamp on a pdf, but I don't see where I can create a new stamp. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Hello,

Is this a questions related to our the SDK products, or the end user products?

If the end user products, you can find steps to create stamps here: https://www.tracker-software.com/knowle ... Stamp-Tool

If you are looking for help with the SDK products, please just let us know and one of our developers will be with you as soon as they can.

Kind regards,
