I have a PDF document and am drawing a rectangle over existing graphics. For some reason the annotation is not matching up with the correct area picked. It seems to be offset by an amount of pixels. I have attached a video to clearly show this behaviour.

Can you recreate that with the End-User Editor with normal rectangle tool?

Yes this can be reproduced within the End User Editor, see screen shot.

It seems that there is a bug with matrices and border width. It differs from starting point (if you are drawing from bottom left everything would work OK). We will look into this.

Hi Alex,

I have tested drawing from the bottom left and it gives the following results:
As you can see the rectangle is drawn inside the black square that I snapped to. However should this not be drawn as half the border width outside and half the border width inside the black rectangle? This is normally how other 2D drawing applications function.

Hello Simon,

The PDF annotations differ from the 2D applications - the rectangle annotation draw it's border that way, so that all of it is inside the area, not just it's skeleton.

OK Alex, that is good to know.

However is there any idea on a timescale for resolving the initial drawing over snapped content from top, left to bottom, right?
