Hello,
we need your help concerning two points:
1- how to copy paste text from word (or any other textual source) as a text box (Freetext)? For now we go through notepad, copying from notepad, it works!
2- how to integrate the annotations on the pdf via pdf xchange editor, so that it can not be modified by adobe reader?(we need to not use lock annotation, because we should be able to change our pdf width our app based on pdf xchange editor, not professional to ask our customer to unlock any annoation they want to change).
Thank you
Copy text from word to pdf xchange editor/integrate annotation

Re: Copy text from word to pdf xchange editor/integrate annotation
Hi Audros,
Thanks for the post!
If you're a developer, you'll need to choose which content to paste from the Windows clipboard - either the rich text or 'Text' formats would probably be best.
If you are a developer, I'd strongly recommend that you take a look at our documentation and get a hold of the ISO PDF Specification to refer to:

I can't link to the PDF Specification as you need to pay for it.
Thanks,
Thanks for the post!
The way that things are pasted in the Editor depends on how the original application copied the data to clipboard. I've tested here by copying text from a Word document and pasting into both the Editor and Adobe. They both paste as a stamp.1- how to copy paste text from word (or any other textual source) as a text box (Freetext)? For now we go through notepad, copying from notepad, it works!

This isn't possible - Without securing the document, it's impossible for us to provide any real mechanism to allow editing in our app, but not in others. In fact, this would violate the entire underlying principle of the PDF format; I'm not even sure that the ISO PDF Specification would allow for this.2- how to integrate the annotations on the pdf via pdf xchange editor, so that it can not be modified by adobe reader?(we need to not use lock annotation, because we should be able to change our pdf width our app based on pdf xchange editor, not professional to ask our customer to unlock any annoation they want to change).
