Hi,
How do I hide search panel programmatically? If I use Search once and then close the editor, it remembers the setting and the next time I open the editor, it comes up with the search panel. I do not want search panel to show by default. How do I hide that?
See the attached screenshot.

Hello Charu,
Please check the FullDemo application - it has the code that does that.
Cheers,
Alex

Re: show/hide search panel programmatically
Hi Alex,
PDFXEdit.IUIX_Cmd cmd=uiInst.CmdManager.Cmds.Find("cmd.view.search");
pdfCtl.Inst.ExecUICmd2(cmd.ID);
The above command (from FullDemo) toggles the search pane. If it is visible, it hides it and if it is hidden, it makes it visible. I need to hide is always when the window is loaded.

Code: Select all
private void ShowPane(IDS paneID, bool bShow)
{
pdfCtl.ShowPane2(nIDS[(int)paneID], bShow);
}
