Annotations that are locked and read/only can be moved... SOLVED

This can be reproduced in the full demo that comes with the SDK.

I have annotations that are locked and are read-only. I cannot edit their data, but I can move them around on the document with the annotation selection tool. This makes the document dirty and I can then save the document with the annotations in their new spot.

I would expect that read-only annotations cannot be moved. Is there another setting that I need to also set?

Hello Stephen,

It appears that dragging the Locked and\or Read Only annotation is possible with the Edit Comments Tool. It's a bug - we will try to fix this asap.

Hi Alex, I want to verify that this will be fixed in the upcoming 319 release? I cannot ship our product with this bug.

Also, any status on when the 319 release might be available?

Hello Stephen,

This needs to be passed to a colleague in the Canadian office for further investigation, and I have just done so.

As for the planned release date of 319 - it should be around the end of the month if all goes well.
