Hi,
I have a scanned document at hand which has small margins for both sides, and I was trying to fix it by printing to file on larger page size. Previously the text can be selected, however, the OCR info seems to be lost after the printing, and I make sure that the "Print as Image" option is not selected. Is there any option available to preserve the OCR info? I don't want to OCR the whole document again since it takes too long to complete.
The sample page is attached

Re: OCR Data Lost After Printing SOLVED
Hello Xuluming,
Unfortunately OCR text like this is transparent. Most transparent objects, including text, are not necessary when being sent to a printer, thus are not included. There is no way to change this, and since we do not recommend printing PDF to PDF, it is likely not going to change either.
On that note however, I must ask why you are printing PDF to PDF instead of using the "resize pages" function from the organize tab? After that, using "Save as" will allow you to save a copy of the file as is, without losing content, and most importantly, without the threat of document corruption that comes with reprinting an existing document.
Kind regards,

Hello Daniel,
Thanks a lot for your suggestion! I was just not aware that there is a "resize page" function, and my problem is solved by using it.
