Hi.

My XChange Editor is v6.0 (322.7).
I have a feeling that OCR works not as expected or I do not know something about how it's supposed to work.
OCR'ing document with default settings results in 446 MB document (PDF version 1.4), while source is only 12 MB (PDF version 1.5).

What can be cause of this?

May I ask you to also check and make sure that you use the latest Editor build (322.7) - as if you are with an older build - this might have already been solved as a problem.

If you are with the latest build and the issue is still there can you please send us a sample of one such file?

Please also include a screenshot with the OCR settings you are using.
