I have a folder with many PDF files without OCR.
Can I choose with all PDF-Files with PDF-Tools and convert in PDF with OCR?

Thanks for the post - there isn't currently any way to OCR multiple PDF files at once, using our software. We are looking at adding this option, but for now I don't have any information available as to when this could/will be implemented.

I also have a lot of PDF files (>100) that have to be convert in PDF with OCR.

Is there any update on this one?

Welcome to our forums.
It's still not possible to OCR batches of PDF files with our end user products, but the OCR is here and can be used.

The quickest I can think of is for you to merge all those files into a single PDF, then run OCR on it, and then split them back to separate files.
If they are all e.g. 1 page documents you can easily split them back via the "Document -> Extract pages" feature in the Editor, and selecting "each page to a separate file" in the options.

Please add one more vore for this. I have just scanned >3000 documents, and skipped the OCR for reasons of efficiency in the process. Now I would like to make a batch conversion of these documents. To make the function really useful, you might consider implementing traversal of a folder structure to update all pdf's with a text layer.
