Very bad accuracy in recognizing "Italic" characters

Hi, Ocr feature works pretty good except in recognizing characters that has the "italic" style. I've tried to use both the medium and high accuracy mode but results are similar. The pdf image origin has been scanned at 300 dpi resolution.I'm using Italian language from the european ocr additional language. I'm using Pdf Xchange viewer free version 2.5 Build 212.
Is there any setting that can solve the problem?
May the pro version helps in obtaining a better accuracy?
Is the OCR engine in the new pdfxchange editor different or it generates same results?
