PDF XChange Editor without Windows Ink SOLVED

Windows Ink has been causing me problems (eating pen strokes in other programs), so I finally got fed up and turned it off. Unfortunately, this disabled pen pressure in PDF XChange Editor. Is there a way to get pen pressure back without turning on Windows Ink? I use a Wacom tablet.

You can download that as a .reg file from this link https://files.tracker-software.support:8443/wl/?id=0cLSThECJ6EqhTH0f4Da731ZtZ1qXKnw Save it and double click it to add it to the registry. I am keen to hear how that goes.

This change seems to work on some PDFs but not others. I don't know that much about the inner workings of PDFs, and I get PDFs from a lot of people who each use their own methods for creating them. I'm not sure where to start on debugging this issue.

The first thing I would check is if these problematic documents have the same issues when the originally disabled windows setting is re-enabled (and the system restarted).
If there is no difference, I am not sure there will be much we can do. You would want to ensure you are on the latest release of both our software, and windows itself. Then if the issue persists, could you please send us a copy of the offending document, so that we can investigate it?
