Page navigation across single vs multiple documents

Post by XChangeGirl »

Using Alt + Left/Right lets you navigate across positions in the document. But when working with multiple documents, pressing those keys will move between all open documents, and will even reopen a closed document if the next position in the queue was in that document.

I'm pretty sure there is a setting to limit navigation to just the currently focused doc, and I may have changed this at one point, but I can't find it now. I'd like to disable that, hoping someone can tell me where the setting is.

Thank you.

Hi XChangeGirl,

I think you might want to disable the following setting.

  • Preferences -> Documents -> Open and Navigate Documents
"Back/Forward commands navigate through all opened documents"
Best Regards,
rakunavi
