Hi!
Is there any setting or a way to select/copy text from the Outlook / Explorer previewer pane?
Presently only hand tool is available.
This limits my productivity - would be great to have.

Re: How to select/copy text from the Outlook previewer
Hello justauser,
Welcome to our Forum.
Unfortunately, this is not possible.
The reason for this is that what you see is just a pictorial preview of the real file, not the actual PDF page, so there is no content that could be selected.
Regards.

How about screen capture? [Winkey][Shift]s->in PDF-XCE New Document from Clipboard. If you're after text, rasterize and OCR to taste.

Re: How to select/copy text from the Outlook previewer
Hello PHK,
That is probably an overkill, and just opening the file in the Editor would be better than the proposed 'solution' (wink)
(We understood the original post as referring to previews of PDF files in the Outlook/Windows Explorer panes. For other file types where e.g. only a preview is at hand - throwing that in the Editor and doing an OCR on it might indeed be a 'quick workaround'.)
Kind regards,
Stefan

Maybe overkill is one step back from impossible.
