[suggestion] Confirm closing an application with multiple opened documents

Can you consider adding this option to the application settings? I'm talking about a situation where no edits have been made to open documents yet.

Yes, this is exactly what I need, because the application does not support automatic saving of the work session on close.

For the time being while your suggestion is being considered - please try turning this option on:

That way if you accidentally close the Editor with many unmodified files - you will then be able to easily restore them then next time you start the Editor.

Thank you, this is very similar to what I need, because I very rarely launch an application as such without opening a specific document.

In addition, I found the topic "Dialogue about closing all opened documents" (https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=31011) — does this mean that the requested functionality was previously present, and then was removed? Or did I once answer "Yes, and don't ask again"? to the question "Do you want to close all opened documents?" Then, perhaps, you need to add a confirmation list to the application settings, like the one present in Far Manager:

to remove the preference from that prompt you may delete the registry key b.AskForCloseAllDocs in the registry

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Tracker Software\PDFXEditor\3.0\Settings\Prompts

Your suggestion for a list in the preferences to manage these was well received. I have raised a feature request ticket for this: RT5916: Feature request :: Editor :: Confirmation list for prompts

As always, this is with the caveat that this is not a promise to deliver said feature, but a commitment to seriously looking into it. Lets see what comes.
