[Feature Request] Shortcuts to close/open pane areas

Post by memo »

There should be shortcuts for opening/closing (left, right, top, bottom) pane areas, equivalent to clicking the little triangle. I know you can assign shortcuts to individual panes like bookmarks etc., but I need a quick way to close and restore the whole pane area, and clicking on the tiny triangle is too fiddly.

Hi,

I had to search a while for understanding what you mean.

Most probably you are rather talking about "Show" and "Hide" pane areas than about "Open" and "Close" them?

And, indeed, I do not find keyboard-shortcuts nor "commands" for this.

Regards.

Yes, that's what I meant. Sorry, I should have included a screenshot myself. Thanks for the clarification!

Hello memo, Willy,

Thanks for your posts and clarification. There is indeed currently no way to toggle these areas with keyboard alone. I will check with our UI devs what their thoughts are on this.

Kind regards,
Stefan
