Add a page from file when printing
Hello,
Does anyone know if it is possible to insert a page when printing or saving a PDF?
I would like to automatically add a page of T&C's behind an order, so it needs to be a print profile that you can select.
Thanks.

Re: Add a page from file when printing
Hi Bevilready,
thanks for the post and question. If you are converting to PDF using the PDF-XChange Printer then there is a category for "Default file append": The Lite Printer that comes with the Editor does not have this.
When using the Editor you would just us the "Insert Pages" feature, it does not have a "default append" like the printer does.
Does that give you what you need?

Re: Add a page from file when printing
Hi Paul,
That’s exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve created a new profile which has the ‘Append output with a PDF file’ selected. Is there a way to make this the default profile, so I can print without having to make a selection?
Thanks.

Re: Add a page from file when printing
Hi Willy,
The reason for my post was because I wanted to automatically add a page of terms and conditions to a PDF purchase order. I am emailed the PDF purchase order and right click on the attached PDF. Select Quick Print which then automatically prints in PDF Xchange using the profile I created. This all works fine, however the ‘Save As’ box which opens doesn’t have the ‘File Name’ pre-populated. Is there a way to make this happen?
Thanks..

Re: Add a page from file when printing
1) Can you please verify in your new print profile, at "Save", if the File Name has been filled in (see attached image)?
2) While printing via Quick Print (in Outlook), when the "Save As" dialog-box pops up, do you see something in the File Name text-box, or is this empty ?
Myself, I have done a test (in MS Outlook 2016) with printing a PDF-attachment towards my PDF-XChange Standard printer, with append of an extra PDF. The "File Name" text-box in the "Save As" dialog-box is correctly showing the name of the PDF that is attached to my e-mail message. So, that seems to be working correctly (at least on my computer).

1. I can verify that the file name is filled in on my new profile.
2. The file name field in save as says, ‘Untitled.pdf’ and is selected for over typing.

Hi Willy,
I’ve solved the problem!
In the PDF Xchange standard printing preferences window and in the ‘Save’ tab, ‘save options, I’ve put a path in the field Path: and it now works properly

Kind regards.
