Notes written with the Typewriter feature disappear

I like the Typewriter feature and at one time I was using it correctly. But now I'm doing something wrong. I write a note on a PDF document using Typewriter such as the following note in red.

[attachment=0]

But as soon as I click Save the note disappears. What am I doing wrong?

Could I ask you to send us a copy of any one document which this issue has occured on? I expect that this has something to do with the content arrangement order, but will need to see it to be sure.

OK, I'll need to find a document that I have this problem with. Thank you in advance for your help. In the meantime I can create a text box and insert text which works the same for me.
