How to display the title in all windows when multiple windows are opened?

Post by rakunavi »

Hello all,

If you open multiple windows, such as by enabling "Open each new document in a new window(*)" option, only the title of the active window is displayed, not the title of the inactive window.

  • (*) This option exists in the following settings:
"File menu -> Preferences -> General -> Tabs and Windows"
I would like to see the titles of all windows, regardless of whether the window is active, but I can't find the settings. If you disable "Hide tab bar when only a single document is opened" option in the above settings and hide all toolbars, the window title is important to distinguish the contents of each window.

In the following video posted on Knowledgebase, it seems that it is possible to display the title in all windows even if multiple windows are opened.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you,
rakunavi

Hello all,

Because I customized the UI color scheme(*), the title text color and the title bar color matched in the inactive window, and I did not notice that it was actually displayed.

  • (*) This option exists in the following settings:
"File menu -> Preferences -> Customize UI -> Colors"
If you customize the color scheme with the gray mode tone, the color of "Text" will naturally be set to white (RGB: 255,255,255) or a color close to white. In that case, the inactive window title seems to disappear no matter what color you set the "Face" color to.

Please ignore the first post. Sorry to bother you.

Thank you,
rakunavi
