Hello,
By default the Date Picker uses m/d/yy as the short-date format. How do I get it to use the system short-date format instead?
Thank you

Re: Make Date Picker use the system date format
Hi, ormond-brown practice
The "date" field can be configured to use any date format you so choose, we include a number of default options to select from, but you can also simply type into the "date format" field (IE: mm/dd/yyyy is not available as an option, but you can type it into the text field manually and would see 06/25/2021 today).
This can all be done within the Properties pane (Ctrl+~) when the field is selected: Kind regards,

Re: Make Date Picker use the system date format
Thanks, Daniel. Yes, I am aware that I can format the date. However, it would be ideal if the date could be presented to end users in whatever format they use on their system. Currently I force my preferred format on end users, which is rather presumptuous.
Re: Make Date Picker use the system date format
This would be super useful for stuff that has to work internationally,
so that the same document written in America with mm/dd/yyyy goes to dd/mm/yyyy when we open it in the rest of the world.
at the moment when i need to ensure there is no ambiguity I'm forcing people to use SQL style YYYY-MM-DD which is equally annoying for everyone!
