Color information when exporting comments to a .CSV-file
Hello,
Would it be possible to show the information of the color of, say, a Perimiter Line when doing an export?
As of now I'm using either the 'Subject' or Author' fields to manually type in the color, but I could really use these for other purposes (height of a wall, sub-section of the building etc.)
Thanks in advance.

Hello MJN,
No, it is not currently possible, but I will check with my colleagues if this is something that could be considered for a future addition!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Color information when exporting comments to a .CSV-file
Hello MJN,
I've just heard back from a colleague in our dev team.
Technically we can export the colour information from the PDF, but the .csv file is just a simple text document (with values separated by comas - hence the 'coma separated values' name) - so what you will get in the .csv will be the hex values and not e.g. "red/green".
Would such a feature still be useful to you?
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello Stefan,
The hex values would actually be ok if colors are not to be had -as long as I can sort the comments by value, I can grok the colors associated with that particular value after the fact
Thanks for taking the time!

Re: Color information when exporting comments to a .CSV-file
Hello MJN,
Thanks for confirming that the hex values would still be useful. Because .csv files are simple text, there's really no way to export the colour info in a way that would then allow excel to display that as an actual colour instead of the respective txt value.
This is the ticket in our internal system for your request:
#5640: FR: Ability to export color #hexvalue when using "Export Comment to CSV"
Kind regards,
Stefan
