Partial Capture is not operating

Post by calleigh »

With camera(snapshot), it is impossible to partial capturing for certain files.
Is it due to malfunctioning or file character...?

Hi, calleigh

Unless a file has security in place, preventing the use of content copying, the snapshot tool should be operational. Do the files in question have any security in place?

Kind regards,

I am also having issues with partial page snapshot tool. It may be user error. I hear the click- however I cannot find where the file is being saved or if it is. I am not prompted for a storage location and cannot find anywhere in the settings where to specify that the file should be saved.

Hi smaziarz,

when you use the snapshot tool it places the image in the Windows Clipboard. You need to paste it into an image editing application like MS Paint. Note that it is not a file, you cannot paste into Windows Explorer, it is the contents of an image not a file.
