Hello,
I've got a problem with line in pdf file. Adobe Reader displays the top line from the bottom table correctly, but in PDF-XChange Editor the line is not exists. Why? Where is the main problem?
Best regards,
Witek

Re: PDF-XChange Editor doesn't show the top line of table
Hello witeq,
There is something wrong with this file - as if you zoom that table in Adobe's Reader - the top line would also disappear. So it seems like it is shown only at some zoom levels in Adobe, and gone in other zoom levels, and we are just a bit more consistent and not showing it at all .
I see however in the Page's structure that there are 5 path objects that should be the top line of your table, that are not displayed on screen. I will ask our devs to take a look at this file and what is wrong with it!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Ok,
I'll be waiting. It's important for me. This pdf was created by Open Office. Maybe this is a clue...

Hello witeq,
Yes - I did see that OpenOffice is listed as the creator of the file, but the issue is with the file and the objects already in it - so I hope my colleagues will have news for me soon on this one!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello witeq,
Apologies - I have not yet received any feedback from our devs - so I asked them once again to take a look at this and raised the priority!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: PDF-XChange Editor doesn't show the top line of table
Hello again witeq,
My colleagues in the dev team checked this file and say that there is a "clip rectangle" and the first 5 path elements (the top of your table) are outside of this rectangle, and are fully clipped (invisible). So what we do, by not showing those is the correct behaviour. Why Adobe and others are showing elements that should be clipped and hidden - we can not comment, but technically this is a bug.
So your file should not have those elements clipped if they should be visible, and other PDF Viewers should not be showing them the way they are currently in your sample.
Kind regards,
Stefan
