print two pages on one paper with exact 100% increase
I want to save paper when plotting my technical drawings.
I have found a way to print two drawings on one paper, but the A4 drawing is not 297mm high, but 320mm.
That is useless for me! it must bei exact 100%.
Is there a possibility to select several pages + 100%?

Hi Guys,
forgive me, i am a native german speaker, thats why i switch to german
Hallo Hubert,
ich habe damit auch schon einiges ausprobiert und recht viele Pläne geplottet... kannst Du mir nochmal kurz genau erklären, was Deine Idee/Dein Vorhaben ist?

Hello Christof,
Thanks for joining this conversation!
@Hubert,
Can you please send us a copy of your sample original file?
By the looks of it - your initial documents are not really with 1:1.42 ratio (as are Din A page formats), and when you try to print them on A4 paper - there would be scaling.
An alternative approach would be to merge the pages inside the Editor first - this will allow you to keep their aspect ratios and original sizes, and then print to paper the already merged two pages per sheet - and apply any scaling (or none) as necessary and desired.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi Tracker Supp Stefan!
Here is a file with typical data.
I duplicated the file and want to print both drawings on one paper that has the dimensions 1450 x 900mm.
And: the zoom factor shall exactly be 100%!

Hi Christoph!

Hi Tracker Supp Stefan!
What does that mean
"merge the pages inside the Editor first"?

What Stefan means is using the feature "Merge pages" that you can find in the "Organize"-tab of PDF-XChange Editor.
By this, you can create one PDF-page with your two drawings, that is ready to be printed at 100% without further scaling.
Here below, the settings I've used in the "Merge pages"-dialog-box to force the drawings to keep their original format (135 x 29,7 cm).
Because it seems like you can not set the scaling equal to 100%, I should work around this, and set a top- and a bottom-margin of 5 cm. In this manner, the paper size of 145 cm will be reached.
Can this be of any help to you ?

Re: print two pages on one paper with exact 100% increase
Hello Willy, Werner,
This is the command I have in mind: With it you can get the whole content onto one 1350.1 x 594.4mm page - and then you can print that to a printer with no scaling at print time - so that your output is at 100% zoom as desired.
There is a radio button option to let the Editor calculate the new page size by the sizes of the pages you are merging - avoiding the need to have to leave margins.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi Willy Van Nuffel and Stefan, thank you very much for your help!
The method of Stefan does not even need a margin calculation.
Greetings and thanks a lot.
