Before I reinstalled my PC, I could edit texts without any problems. Since the reinstallation and the associated latest version of PDF X-Change, I can no longer.
I was already on version 9, so this was not a major update. The text I want to edit is really a text, which is also shown to me in the "Content" sidebar.
Even if I add the text with: "Add Text", I can't change it afterwards with the "Change" tool. Of course I made sure that it is set so that all elements will be edited.

Hi Michael.A,
Please check whether the "Edit text elements as blocks" option is enabled for the Edit tool. While this option is disabled, you cannot edit text. You can only select, move, delete the different text elements.

ah, forgot to answer. Thanks for your help. That was the hint that helped me.
