PDF-XChange Start > Document "fit to page" open

Post by MarkusBurger »

Hello to you,

when i want to open a document i would like to see it always in "Fit to Page" size on the screen and not in a more or less undefined scale-size. I always adjust it the "Fit to Page".

> can i somewhere place the requirement, so that the software remember this requirement when open up the first time?

Regards

Markus

Hello MarkusBurger,

Welcome to our forums.

You can set a custom zoom level for your documents from File -> Preferences -> Page Display.

Please note that you also need to disable both Respect Document Properties and Restore the last used page layout and zoom settings options as these will take priority over the Default Page Zoom.

turns out.... this menu is not available when you're working with the classic toolbar :?

please add this to the classic toolbar also.... cost me quite a bit of time
