Hi,
We use PDF-XChange Editor with latest updates and the large format printer Canon TX-3000.
We had a problem with "Select Paper Size by Document's Page Size" and the Canon TX-3000 driver paper size.
If the gap between the driver page size and the document's page size to big, the print out will be croped or scaled to 200% or 50%.
I tryed it with Acrobat and the print was correct.

Hello bernd.pongratz@mach-partner.at,
Can you please share a screenshot of the PrintPreview window of the Editor - with all the settings that you are trying to use which result in the incorrect output?
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi, bernd.pongratz@mach-partner.at
First, I think you might have our print preview and the printers drivers preview in the wrong spots there, but I believe the issue here is actually a misunderstanding of how this function works.
With this docuemnt, while you have "select paper size by document page size enabled", it causes the pager to print at A1 [594mm * 841mm] size: which as you can see, is the 100% scale page size, and is the intended use of this function: Simply put, it should be making this change to the printed output because that is the page size of the current PDF file.
As I see from your screenshots, your plotter is set to instead be 914mm * 3000mm, which would almost certainly cause the exact issue with differing page dimensions you show in your screenshots. Please ensure that you have to correct page size selected in our Editor (or disable the option mentioned above, so the printer drivers can be used to set the page size).
Kind regards,

Re: Canon TX-3000 Printing Error
Hi Daniel,
i am understanding the function.
The function "select paper size by document page size enabled" select/shows the correct paper size.
But if the gap between the selected papersize (A1 [594mm * 841mm]) and the printer papersize (914mm * 3000mm) is to big, the error appears.
Reducing the gap, the error dissappears. There must be a interacting between this 2 settings that occurs the error.

Hi, bernd.pongratz@mach-partner.at
You would usually specify the paper size you want to print the document on, if you do not intend to print on the smaller paper size that the document it set to, you should not have the option to automatically use that paper size enabled. It would be entirely expected to encounter issues like this if you do not wish to print on that smaller paper size or if the printer does not have a tray with that paper size present.
Kind regards,
