Hello uli66,

Adobe stopped Flash Support completely:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowle ... ember-2020
So the landing page will not display at all.
Please press Ctrl + Shift + A on your keyboad to open the attachments pane - where you would see all the documents that are included in your portfolio, and can access them from there.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello,

How can I get the preview of the documents in PDX XChange? I only see the attachments in the lower part of the window.

Thanks for your support!

Hello izink,

Please check the link which I shared a few posts above in this topic:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowle ... ember-2020
Adobe did stop support for Flash, so the portfolio 'previews' that you are used to will no longer work.

Kind regards,
Stefan

HI

https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgebase/555-Adobe-stops-support-of-Adobe-Flash-Player-31st-December-2020

Is there going to be a fix for the Flash issue with the feature, I was going to recommend a Company Licence for this SW but with that flash issue still there it would not fly

Cheers
Alan

Hello alan.robertson,

It is not just us who is affected by this, and there is no solution that will restore things back to how they were while Flash was available, but we are looking at alternative approaches to PDF portfolios.

Kind regards,
Stefan

HI

Was not looking for a solution to bring it back, i was looking for a time line for the alternative, could not purchase for my company with that outstanding portfolios issue.

HI

Even if the feature was removed that would be a help, it would stop users logging calls about the feature not working which they would.

Cheers

Hi Alan,

we are planning on a non-flash solution that will provide the thumbnails that Flash used to. It will not be ready for the build coming out this week, however we are hoping to have it done for the subsequent release a couple of months later.

I hope that helps.
Best regards
