Hi,
after doing OCR two times on the same document (I tested some settings), there seem to be two text layers of recognized text! When I search for a word, I get two search entries per word.
How could I remove one or all text layers?
Or is there a setting to delete "old" recognized text when doing OCR again?
Thanks,

Re: How to remove OCR text layer(s)?
For as far as I know, there is no "specific" function to remove OCR text, but you can easily do this in the following way:
- show the Content pane (View > (Other) Panes > Content)
- click the "Options..." button in the toolbar of the Content pane
- in the menu that shows up, click Select > Text
- you will see that all the text in the Content pane will be selected
- press the Delete key on your keyboard
After this, re-run OCR page(s) if you like.
NOTE: Always make sure to keep a copy of the original file for in case something should go wrong OR save the new version with a new name.
Kind regards.
