Re: Extract after a search
Hi,
For as far as I know, that feature does not yet exist in PDF-XChange Editor (v8.0.343.0).
What about a work-around ?
- right-mouse-click on the search-results
- click "Annotate highlighted result"
- choose (for example) "Hightlight results"
- then, in the Comments pane, select the Comments that are highligted (Show Comments > By Type > Highlight)
- select all that comments that are shown at this moment
- right-mouse-click on the selection
- click "Select Correspondent Thumbnails"
The Thumbnails pane will show up with the selected pages
- now, in the Organize-ribbon, click "Extract pages"
- make sure to choose "Selected Pages" (and other options that you prefer)
- click OK
NOTE: Take care to not save your original document with the highlighted comments, if you do not like that.
In case you do not like the highlights in your resulting document either, just remove them.
Can this be of some help for you?
