I looked at the postings, relating "large format PDF > 5080" (from 2014 - 2019) - what's the current state, both for Editor and Driver?
Unchanged?
Limited to 5080mm?

Re: Current state of "large format PDF > 5080 mm"?
Hi, Peter2
That is correct, PDF is still currently artificially limited to 200x200in or 5080x5080mm due to limitations in 32-bit applications, which to my knowledge we are one of very few who offer a native 64-bit app (and have been for many years).
While technically, the latest version of PDF can support significantly larger page sizes if used in a 64-bit app(like ours), as before, most of our competition are still providing 32-bit applications. This means that as soon as we allow files to be created/modified beyond this size, we would need to rescind our claim that "our PDF documents are some of the most universally compatible among our competitors". With us being one of the only 64-bit apps out there, those files simply would not work properly in any of their 32-bit apps. Beyond that, most documents are also still using previous PDF versions (such as PDF 1.4) which actually are limited to the smaller size.
Once more of our main competitors have 64-bit apps which are capable of handling files at these sizes, then we will likely be removing this artificial limitation that is still imposed.
Kind regards,
