Favorites menu (suggestion / question)

Post by bernard meunier »

Hi,

Let consider that you have open some documents within PDF-XChange, is there a way to remember those as a whole and reopen all by retrieving a "favorite" you may have created/saved before closing PDF-xChange?

That would be great (at least for me)

Regards
Bernard

Hello bernard meunier,

Maybe the Sessions manager is what you need?

Hi,

I confirm, this is great feature.

One question: is it possible to manualy edit an exported session file (to apply a relocation or a change of drive).
Opennig it using notepad show it as pdf :(

Hello bernard meunier,

I am afraid that no - you can not easily edit those files, but you can load a session, make changes to it, and then save the session file anew.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Thanks,

Any chance to add this possibility to an upcoming release?

A solution could be to allow saving in another format instead of native one.

Alternatively reloading a session with missing path could ask user to select
a new source directory/path... same as Itune do when a file is not at is original
location :?

Hi, bernard meunier

it will probably not be something we can do for an upcoming release, but it is something that will be considered in the future. For now, you will need to follow Stefan's suggestions on this matter.
