Another layer question
Once I have isolated a layer ... how do I save or export that layer to a new pdf file ?

Re: Another layer question
Hi Danna,
well there currently isn't a feature for exporting selected or visible only layers, but is is not unreasonable thing to ask, so we have raised a formal feature request around it. While internal only, asking about RT#5290: Feature Request :: Editor :: Export select Layers as new PDF will allow any support staff member to get you a status update on it.
There is a work around however, just make sure you copy your original PDF first as this process WILL remove the other layers.
The work around is to select only the layers you want, then flatten the document, that will remove all the other content.
I hope that helps.

Re: Another layer question
Thanks for both ... feature request and workaround.
Though I do not see how to do the workaround from within the layers panel.

Re: Another layer question
Hi, danna
You would want to use the new "flatten all layers" function in the Layers pane: This is a new feature in build 340, so you will want to update to make use of it.
Kind regards,
