Word > PDF Conversion Loses Bookmarks SOLVED

Hi,

Converted a long multi-chapter document with Headings H1, H2, etc as "bookmarks" (in Word) for navigation.

Converts beautifully.

But, all the navigation divisions are lost.

In converting

Word > PDF

is there any way to preserve the navigation structure that one sees in Word at the left pane under "Headings"?

This answered my question in a roundabout way. I was using PDF Tools to convert a Word doc to PDF. In a way it sort of works, but bookmarks did not come over.

I never noticed the new menu item in Word until I took a closer look at the post above. What product added that menu item? Because it does ALLOT more than what PDF Tools convert and PDF-XChange file/open of a Word document does.

That toolbar is added by the Standard printer, which is available standalone, or as part of the PDF-XChange PRO bundle.

Ok, I see now. Thanks for the explanation. Glad I bought the PRO bundle because it wasn't clear to me why I might want PDF-XChange Standard Printer. Looking at the features comparison it is clear now. If you're going to be converting Word documents and want the conversion to be as complete as possible, you want that.

Looks like that's a recent feature too. Real nice job by the team on that.
