I tried to use recompress to shrink a document, but when choosing JPEG/ZIP on certain JPEG images, the type is changed to JPEG2000/Flate with a larger size as well.
I needed to copy each image to a paint program and paste it again to squeeze the size
Here's the example file to play around:

Re: Compressing Images changes image file type
Hello, Puffolino
Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I wanted to confirm that this appears to be resolved now. At least when testing with a few samples i have here, and with your sample provided in this post. Can I ask you to confirm that this is now working as desired on your end as well?
Kind regards,
