Update via updater fails

can't update - installation stops at this point:

Do you see any error messages, UAC prompts, or otherwise something to indicate that something has gone wrong, or does the process simply stop here without any notice whatsoever?
Can you please also confirm if the updater is perhaps frozen? Windows should display a slightly animated "swoosh" across the green bar periodically. is that still occurring?

If running the updater is not working, you do also always have the option of manually uninstalling the software and the running the latest installer available from your account page: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/myaccount
